Access Codes are passcodes that end-users need to obtain to gain access to the internet using the Starling system.
Access Codes are useful for businesses that need to control the use of Wi-Fi, conducting events, providing higher bandwidth for VIP customers, or businesses that would like to sell premium Wi-Fi service.
To see the list of access codes, select Experience > Access Codes.
- Location: Venue where the access code is used
- Code: Code to be used
- Type: Type of the code
- Access Code: It can be used by a single guest. If there is an expiry date, it can be use multiple times until it expires. If there is not an expiry date, it is for one-time use only
- Shared: It can be used by multiple guests and multiple times
- SMS Code: It is auto generated as an OTP (one time password)
- Description: Details about the access code
- Service Profile: Service profile to be used for Guest access code
- Start Date: The starting date of the access code
- Status: Used or Available
- Start Date: The starting date of the access code
- Expiry Date: The expiry date of the access code
- Use Count: Number of usages of that access code
- Used At: Date of the usage of that access code
- Guest: Guest that connected to the auto-generated access code
- Created At: Date and time of the code creation
Click on the to export the access codes in the list to Excel or CSV file.
Click on the "Create" button to generate a new access code.

- Service Profile: Service profile to be used for the Guest access code
- Type: Type of the access code
- Access Code: It can be used by a single guest. If there is an expiry date, it can be used multiple times until it expires. If there is not an expiry date, it is for one-time use only
- Shared: It can be used by multiple guests and multiple times
- Quantity: Number of the access code to be created
- Code: Code to be used
- Start Date: The starting date of the access code
- Expiry Date: The expiry date of the access code
- Description: Details about the access code
Fill in all necessary details and click on the “Create” button to create a new access code.
