The Splash Page is the web portal where the guest will be redirected, after connecting to the Starling system.
To open the list of splash pages, select Experience > Splash Pages.
Click on the icon to get the following options menu on each page.
- Preview: Preview the page in the browser to see how it looks from the guest perspective when connecting to the Wi-Fi network SSID
- Edit: Edit the selected splash page
- Duplicate: Clone the splash page
- Delete: Delete the splash page. If it is in use, it cannot be deleted
To create a new splash page, click the "Create" button.
There are two types of Splash Pages:
- Pre-Login: This is the first page that appears when the guest connects to the Wi-Fi with venue branding and Wi-Fi connections options including
- Post-Login: This is the page that appears after connecting to the internet. This is the marketing page where providing offers, or asking guests to like/follow the business
It is also possible to choose a splash page template based on the venue or however desired. To choose a splash page template, click “Select a Template”. After selecting the template, the color of the template can be applied.
To add an image to the splash page, click . After that, click “Upload Files” button to upload the files from your local to the system.
Splash Page Components:
- HTML Tab: This is where the page HTML code is defined and linked to other sources such as images, JavaScript, and CSS files.
- Custom CSS Tab: HTML code calls Custom CSS in the background. Any custom styling that is required to perform on your page design should be defined here such as skin colors, etc.
- JavaScript Tab: This is an optional tab for advanced JavaScript requirements that might be required.

Preview Tab: After competing HTML page, before publishing, click this tab to preview the splash page. Click
to preview it in a new tab. It is also possible to share the preview page link with another person to ask for their feedback using the “Share” button. The following buttons are available on the preview page to see how the page will be displayed on different devices or to close the options bar:
In addition, using the Google Chrome browser, you may use F12 to check the responsiveness across multiple device resolutions.

Click “Save” to finish creating a splash page.
