Calculating the t-shirt size of each of your sites

A site is defined as any set of buildings or campus that can be walked/ shuttled between - not individual buildings

A rough square footage can be calculated via Google Maps:

• Find the building in Maps
• Right click and select ‘Measure Distance’
• Click around the outer perimeter of the building (excl. car parks)
  • Parking lot perimeters can be measured separately, and are charged at half the price of an indoor deployment
  • Outdoor areas are not calculated
• Once the loop is completed, Google provides a sqft figure
• If the building is multi-story, the sqft figure needs to be multiplied by the number of stories
• The number of stories can sometimes be seen by using Street View to look at the exterior of the building and counting the windows
